Not real sure why, but a lot of people have told me they miss my random thoughts.  Since I haven't allowed you into the sad and scary mind of Dean Herman, here we go:

* Took part in the Pickets triathlon Saturday morning.  It consist of three legs,
   1. 300 yard swim
   2. 13 mile bike ride
   3. 3 mile run
My goal was to do all three in a combined time of one hour & 30 minutes.  My time was 1 hour & 24 minuttes.
I was very pleased with this. For the clydesdale class (200 and above) I was first in the swim, third in the bike and 8th in the run.  So sore on Sunday I could barely walk.
* After the tri Jacob and I attended the Clemson/Furman game.  Had the best parking spot ever.  We were under Death Valley.  Walked 20 feet across road to entrance.  Tickets on 50.  Its all about who you know, not what you know!  Sad thing, it was Gamecock fans who had the tickets and parking pass.
* Thinking about going to see Grandma in October.  She'll be 90 her next birthday.  Talk to her weekly.
*  Today is my Mom's birthday.  Miss you Mom.  Think about you often.  Thank you for the Godly example you set for me.  We'll be together in eternity soon.
* I'll be 45 this Saturday.  Don't feel that old, but I do feel 25.
* Jacked up about what God is doing at 5 Point.
* Had 27 men attend the mens ministry meeting last night.  The fellowship and Biblical challenge was great.  The low country boil Terry prepared was pretty good also.
* Hudson (my grand son) really does love me more than anyone on this planet. You the man Hud!
* Went to Jacob's (8 year old son) football game tonight.  Played really well.  Love to watch my boy.
* Deb is doing sit ups.  Need to quit typing and go do some.  NOT!  Rode 12 miles this afternoon and swam 12 laps.  Enough exercise for the day.  Only had a can of chicken and some crackers for dinner. I hate dieting, but truly desire to weigh 260.  Gotta pay the price for all that stupid eating in years past.
* I love this cooler weather.
* Need some land to deer hunt on.  Any one that would allow a pastor to hunt please get in touch with me.  I love it but don't have any where to hunt.
* Working on our next series already, Victoria's secret.  We'll be looking into the spell women have over men with sex.  It's gonna be HOT!
* Should I get a dog for the boys?
* Its 11:15 pm and I'm whooped.  Finish this in the morning.  Good night!
* I'm back.  Just finished Sunday morning and e-mailed hand out to Terry.  He has done a great job making all our technical stuff better.
* Debbie and Michelle are getting ready to go shopping, spend my hard earned money.
* Couldn't sleep again last night, spent most of the night on the floor in living room.
* Had some church planters visit us this week.  I hope we can help others as much as we've been helped.
* My office is a mess.  I gotta organize this place.
* Tim and Terry talked with someone today about getting our web site where I want it.
* Have begun praying about another staff member.  More a lot later as God leads.
* God has laid on my heart, 1,000 by Easter with a third service.  WOW!  This is God sized but we serve a HUGE God.
* Love Wednesday nights.  What a great time of informal teaching.
* Andrew has a huge test today at 11:00.  Hope he does well.
* Have you ever wondered why God has so blessed your life?  I love life.  I love my family.  I love 5 Point.
