It's actually Wednesday and I realized I haven't written the past few days.  I gotta get better about this for the thousands of people who read this blog daily! 

God continues to do some pretty incredible stuff on Sunday mornings.  When I wanted to do the "I screwed up" series I felt God was leading me that way because so many of our people need help in these areas.  Little did I know it would impact my life so powerfully.

Sunday we discussed parenting.  I admitted that I am a good parent through the eyes of the world but had a great deal of improving to do through the eyes of God.  It was a very tough message for me to teach because so much of the message came from personal screw ups and experiences.  When Mary Elizabeth sang with her Dad I was done.  I wasn't prepared for that.  Tim and Terry had said something about it earlier in the week but I didn't realize what was going on.  As I saw her sitting on the stage I was wondering what she was doing up there.  As she stood and grabbed that microphone and sang with her Daddy, I cried like a baby.  It wasn't that she was up there but I could see the innocence in her eyes.  Knowing how much her Daddy loves her along with the words of the song.  It took me a second to get my composure.

I was amazed at the responses from people as they were leaving.  God really spoke to a lot of people and I am jacked up about that!  My heart's desire is to continue praising the name of Jesus as lives are being touched and changed.

Random thoughts:
*  The tigers took it hard Saturday.  My family went down four hours early and hung out with a bunch of friends.  The tail gating was better than the game.  Love the Tigers, but not looking good right now.
*  The Gamecocks are moving up.  Proud of them.  I've told several Gamecock fans they need to learn to win with grace.  Hard to pull for them when so many fans are so arrogant.  The more they win the better the state of South Carolina looks.  I'm trying to love the other SC team.  Help me out fans.
*  Andrew and I went fishing Monday.  It was awesome.
*  The Victorious Secret series is coming together.  It truly is going to be hot.  Pray with me that God does something incredible.  Begins Novemebr 4th with God loves sex.
*  Supposed to cool down starting tomorrow.  Praise God.
*  I enjoy watching Jacob play football and kick some butt.  Well, Jacob got jacked up last night.  He never saw the two boys coming at him.  He literally got knocked off his feet and the first thing to hit was his head.  He didn't get up.  I'm laughing and Debbie is fussing at me.  I knew the only thing hurt was his male ego pride. 
*  Sunday night our home group was awesome.  Love getting to know new people in our church.
*  I can guarantee you that Clemson will not lose this Saturday.  GUARANTEE!
