It is Saturday at noon and were in the process of finishing up our Africa trip yard sale.  WE'll end up making around $1,000.  Pretty good for the stuff we had.  As we were bringing the stuff out I commented on several occasions, "why would anyone bring this junk."  As usual, I was wrong.  Sold every bit of it. 

Thank you to everyone who helped and donated stuff.  We sold over 3/4 of and were giving the rest to Home of The Heart.

I wanted to share this with you because this is part of our vision.  To help others.  A group of us are going to Africa build a orphanage, VBS and pastor training.  My desire is to make this a yearly trip.  I'd love to eventually plant a church here if God leads. 

Too many churches care about their people and their people only.  As we continue to grow 5 Point will be about helping others outside the walls of our church and not just the inside.
