May 27, Sunday & Memorial Day

Sunday, May 25th will always go down as one of the most incredible worship experiences I've been able to take part in.  WOW is all I can say.  To look into the eyes of so many people and see the Holy Spirit moving was incredible.  The topic of loving other, especially unbelievers, was obviously something we all needed to hear.  Worship was incredible.  I felt God stirring in my heart as well as others.  I love it when we can experience worship in such a real way.  The video and song (Tears of the Saints) at the end of the message had me crying during the run through, 1st & 2nd service.

Here are some comments on the connect cards:
Today was one of the best sermons I've heard in my life, my whole life in church.
Great music today! Enjoyed the sermon!
A fantastic, moving, thought-provoking message and worship experience!
Thank You Lord for never giving up on us and those that didn't give up on Dean.

Someone I've been praying for gave their life to Christ Sunday.  When lives are being changed and God stirs in his people, it don't get no better!

What we must all realize is that people are hurting and we need to slow down and give them a hand.

Memorial Day
The Herman family spent the day on the lake with friends.  It was an incredible day.  I tried not to think about church stuff and just enjoy the day with the family!  Didn't check e-mails, didn't write on the blog, didn't work on a message, just played and hung out and it was good!  But, I'm excited about this Sunday.  We'll finish our "Pimp My Life" as we look into a very dangerous topic, our tongues.
