The vision and desire to get into our community continues to burn brighter and stronger every day in my heart.  I continue to meet with different leaders weekly.  I just left an awesome meeting with the Chief of Police, Danny Traber.  He was very encouraging and impressed that a church wants to actually come out of their safety zone (church walls) and begin getting into the streets.  We met for over an hour as I shared the vision of becoming the church that:
* creates a place for men addicted to porn to get help
* gives food to people hurting and need some help (not just hand outs)
* has a desire to create a teen center that will draw students away from trouble and into a relationship with Jesus
* wants to give to the community and not just take
* welcomes any and all people, regardless of race, financial status, popularity, etc.
* dreams BIG because we serve such an awesome & BIG God
* our entire community is talking about because God is stirring and only He can take the credit

Chief Danny gave me a list of people I need to touch base with.  Ann is in the process of setting up the meetings. 
I will be trying to get on the agenda to speak at the next city council meeting and share the vision. 

5 Point, please pray for:
 * God to open doors and lead me to the people I need to be in contact with
* me as I continue seeking His Will for the direction of our church
* a spiritual awakening to begin right here in our own hearts, church and community.
* your role in reaching out and helping others

Some thoughts running wild in my head:
* great creativity meeting yesterday.  Working on the series we'll start the fall with
* you'll see a new face on the stage with Tim this week.  Think your gonna like it
* continue working on summer camp plans for the youth
* got killed in softball last night - I hate losing
* was headed to my weight watchers meeting yesterday and received a call that someone needed some
   help.  Instantly headed that way.  Spent over hour talking about Jesus.  More to come on situation.
* lost at least 4 pounds this past week.  Would have been 8 or more but Sunday and Memorial day I watched the
   weight instead of weight watchers.
* worked out hard last two days
* Lawson & Michelle closed on their house.  They'll be moving out soon.  I'll be able to walk around nude again if I
   want to.  Sure will miss Hud man.  OK, I'll miss Lawson and Shell also, a little.
* Looking forward to One Prayer starting week after next.  Tell you more Sunday
* Really looking forward to vacation in a month.  Basic trip to the beach but will be good to get away.
