This past Friday (4th of July) I enjoyed the entire day on the beach with my family.  Played in the pool a couple hours with my boys.  Had dinner at Outback and watched fire works for over an hour.  It was awesome!

Many of the people of 5 Point were here serving our community and I've heard nothing but incredible reports.  There were anywhere from 7,000 - 10,000 people who came through our parking lot and enjoyed free hot dogs, drinks, cotton candy, snow cones, rides and a lot of friendly faces.  By far our best out reach event yet.

I said all that to say thank you.  What an honor to lead such an awesome group of people.  I will definitely be here for next years event.  Already making plans to do it bigger and better.  A lot of people have already agreed to help and gave us some great suggestions.

Upcoming Events:
1. This Sunday we'll have baptism in the parking lot.  One service at 9:30.
2. Super Natural begins the following Sunday with two worship experiences.  We'll be discussing the spiritual
    battles we all face and the job description of Satan & demons.
3. On September 7th we'll kick off a new series entitled Thin Ice.  A lot more info coming real soon.
4. Next New Members class is August 10th at 6:00 pm.
5. Lake day/baptism is October 4th.  We had close to 200 people attend last year.
