There are so many Sundays when I get home and wonder what WE as a staff could have done better to improve our worship experiences.  We work so hard to create an environment that glorifies God and helps people to understand God's Word. 

Yesterday wasn't one of those days, but it started out that way.  First of all our drummer wasn't feeling well, first time in over three years.  Had to change all the songs right before the service.  One of the computer guys in the sound booth was called into work and wasn't able to attend.  The smoke alarm (candles on stage) went off right before the first service.  To say that I was a little irritated is an under statement.

Prayed with a couple of our leaders right before the service to help calm my spirit and ask God to take complete control of our already messed up morning.  And God sure did.  Without any drums the music was incredible.  Had several comments on the connect cards and by people just how good worship was.  As a public speaker you can always tell when people are engaged and enjoying the lesson.  People were eating up the information about Satan. 

And then here came the invitation.  Having people stand throughout the auditorium admitting they are under attack was powerful.  But to see our people putting an arm around people they didn't even know and praying for them was a God thing.  And even more powerful was asking people to stand and admit they didn't know Jesus.  I know of six people who were broken and gave their life to Christ. 

Thank you Lord Jesus for reminding me that no matter how hard WE try YOU are always in control. 

Already excited about what God has in store for us this Sunday as we discuss the topic, "Can Christians be possessed by demons? 

HUGE PRAYER REQUEST
I personally spoke with the property owner of Wal-MArt in Easley this morning.  He lives in Kentucky.  I am having lunch with him this Friday (in Kentucky) about us pertaining the property.  We serve a BIG GOD who wants BIG THINGS to happen at 5 Point.  Pray for a BIG MIRACLE this week.  Pray God would touch this man's heart and he would literally give us the building and property.  Understand this is a multi million dollar property. Pray he could see the vision and passion in my heart.  Please pray for God to do something REALLY GOD SIZED.
