July 29, Sunday thoughts on Tuesday
You ever had one of those days when you were so busy you never had a chance to take a breath? I had one of them yesterday. To be honest, never thought about blogging.
Thoughts on Sunday
* Tony Morgan (key leader from New Spring) came to evaluate us and for some reason I was soooo nervous.
I'm really surprised about this because I seldom get nervous. Feel sure about my calling and style of teaching.
* Felt like I didn't teach near as well first service because of this. Some said it was in my mind, I don't think so.
* Overall, two really good services.
* Several salvations. YES!
* Past three Sundays we've baptized 15 and had another 8 people give tier life to Jesus.
* Daniel was awesome on the last song.
* Had lunch with him today about helping lead worship on a regular basis.
* Numbers little down form last Sunday. A lot of people out of town.
* Super Natural has been an awesome series.
* The children side had a HUGE crowd. They had over 150 on their side alone.
* SOOO excited about this fall. God is building momentum.
* Seeing a lot of visitors and it is still July.
* Thank you to everyone who helps make Sunday worship possible.
Other thoughts
* Meeting in Pikeville last Friday (pertaining to Wal-Mart) went great. Explain in detail in the morning.
* Really looking forward to Promise Keepers this Friday and Saturday.
* Played golf Saturday and Sunday. Curtis beat me both days by three strokes and he is awful.
* 100% certain about starting a marriage enrichment on Sunday evenings in September.
Had four couples share with me their marriage is in deep trouble just this Sunday alone.
* God is already cooking some cool stuff in me for Thin Ice.
* Travis will only be here a few more weeks. (Hate that-doing a great job) His heart is with starting Thrive.
* Yesterday meeting was with someone about picking up where Travis leaves off.
* 6:30 meeting tonight with home group leaders.
* Home groups rock. I'd love to see 100% of people involved.
* Got up early this morning and spent close to two hours with God. After working out God gave me the rest of
Sundays message. I have way toooooo much information. Down scaling soon as I finish this blog.
* Need more people to fast for the month of August.
* Can't believe summer is almost over.
* Gotta get back to Sunday morning.
