21 men attended the Promise Keepers event held in Atlanta this past Friday & Saturday.  Some of my thoughts:
* Felt great to walk into a building and have nothing to worry about except worshiping myself.
* Worship was awesome.
* Watching over 6,000 men who truly wanted to worship was incredible.
* When men quit worrying about other men and focus in on God as their audience, it is truly amazing.
* I wish thousands more would have participated.
* New Birth church allowed Promise Keepers to use their facilities free of charge.  That is a church with a heart for the kingdom of God.  By the way, the facilities were  state of the art. 
* During one of the worship services a survey was taken (text message on phone) and the number one problem among the men attending Promise Keepers was porn.  That is why we're in the process of starting a porn addiction ministry at 5 Point.
* God showed out.
* The volunteers of New Birth displayed an awesome example of servant hood.
* Heard a variety of excellent communicators. 
* Ate at The Varsity for my first time.  A cheese burger, hot dog and fries at midnight.  WOW!
* We traveled (not on purpose) through down town Atlanta.  So many hurting people. 
* Atlanta doesn't come to live until midnight.
* It truly is HOT in Atlanta.
* Prayed over our men several times during the services.  If these 21 men decided to change Pickens County for Jesus, they could.  Prayed for God to give us a passion and boldness for others.
* Already looking forward to getting away next year.
