Thoughts on Sunday

Some thoughts on yesterday:
* Felt as if I didn't bring my A game.  Not sure why but didn't feel good about yesterday.
* Jeniffer Johnson can flat out sing.
* Good to see Andrea helping lead worship again.
* As usual, Tim and the band did a great job in leading us in worship.
* Felt like the communicator (Me) was FLAT.
* Baptized six people and that is always a high light!
* A young man gave his life to Jesus during the youth service last night.  Awesome!
* Want to bring Dwain (bald Youth Pastor dude) on full time.  Doing a great job.
* The children side was rocking again yesterday.  Had close to 200.  We need more Jesus loving people to
volunteer to help lead small groups with the children.  Great problem to have.
* Space is becoming a issue in children's theater.
* Offering was way down.  I take that so personal.  Must do a better job of sharing vision.
* People buy into vision and not paying the electric bill.
* Marriage improvement talked about how to fight fair last night.  Had a blast with all the couples.
* Went home and took an hour nap after lunch.  Deb made pot roast and it was great.
* It is Debbie's fault I'm over weight.
* Since I felt like yesterday was such a bust, working A LOT harder on this Sunday.
* We'll be looking at myths about sex.  Try to answer all the questions turned in about sex.  Some will make you
   say WOW!
* Saw a bunch of visitors again yesterday.
* Attendance was really good again.
* Thank you for not leaving during the last song.

Some other random thoughts:
* Had a great staff meeting today.
* Without our staff this church would be running 7, my family.
* This Thursday is the coaching network at New Spring and I can't wait to see how Perry will challenge us.
* Worked out like a beast this morning.  Ate grilled grouper for lunch.
* Speaking at FCA for Liberty High School Friday at 8:00 am and FCA at North Greenville University Friday morning
at 10:00 am.  Love sharing the gospel with student athletes.  Can't think of a better thing to do on my day off.
* New Members class Friday evening.
* Continue to pray about some change that need to take place.
* For us to become a church of 1,000 I need to makes some changes personally.  Become a better leader.
* I love being the Pastor of 5 Point Fellowship.
* Tyler Grisham (number 13 for the Clemson Tigers) will be sharing a testimony this Sunday.
* Met with Grish this morning.  What a great guy.  He loves Jesus and can flat out catch a football.
* Wal-Mart is moving.  I want that building.  Take care of space and location issues.
* Tigers need to win out.
* Glad South Carolina will finally get to go to a decent bowl.  Fans been waiting a long time.
* Staff began reading The Blessed Life by Robert Morris together.  The book is awesome!
* Finish our Q & A series by answering the questions, Why does the church always want my money & Divorce, is it
the unpardonable sin?  Both will be a lot of fun.
* Starting in December, Jesus for Dummies.

There are so many more thoughts running through my head but that is all you can handle for one day.
