Today was another amazing day with 15 other pastors from all over the southeast at New Spring.  Perry Noble spent the morning sharing their creative process; how they create a Sunday morning worship service.  New Spring definitely have all their ducks in a row.  I'm always amazed at their standard of excellence.  IT isn't possible for 5 point to do some of the same things because we don't have the staff or finances.  But we can strive to do everything with excellence ourselves.

Debbie and Lawson both asked me if I learned anything.  Didn't learn as much as I was challenged.  I want to share some of the things that really made me say think:

* As churches grow, God will never ask you to take smaller steps of faith, but bigger.
* As the church grows the Pastor must grow with it.
* As leaders, we must always strive to become better.
* Every church has three types of people attending:
     a. visitors
     b. people involved
     c. life sucking leaches
* No one should ever do something out of guilt but out of passion.
* We should never try anything that could be accomplished without God.
* If you never have an "oh crap" moments your not trusting God.

We spent an hour sharing the best series our churches had done.  Heard some incredible stuff!

Couple of thoughts:
* speaking at Liberty High School FCA in the morning. 
* speaking at North Greenville FCA at 10:00 in the morning.
* leading new members class tomorrow evening.
* have my tickets and parking pass for Saturday.  Tigers and the Blue Devils.  Homecoming.  Should be fun.
* Sunday morning, two awesome worship experiences at 5 Point.
* What an incredible next three days.
