December 23, Merry Christmas

I love what God has called me to do.  I can't imagine doing anything different.  I hope God the Father allows me to do this for many years to come.  But, unless your a pastor you'll never understand the stress and spiritual battles a pastor goes through.  In saying that, I plan on doing some serious resting the next couple of weeks.  This Sunday is 100% finished and I've already started working on our next series entitled, "What If."  Tomorrow I'll be serving the guys at Home of the heart and eating Christmas Eve dinner with the Winkler family.  Oh and what a spread it is.  Thursday through Saturday will be a lot of family time and laziness as we celebrate Christmas.

The following week I'll work on Monday and then I'll be leaving Tuesday morning at 5:00 am for Jacksonville, Florida and the Gator Bowl.  Have a free ticket and free room.  Four guys will split the gas.  Won't cost much at all to go so why not.

In saying all that, I don't plan on writing much until the new year.  Probably wrtie about the next couple of Sundays and some other thoughts if I feel like it.  I have a goal of being very faithful to this blog beginning January.  In fact, this will be my main form of information.

Have a very Jesus filled Christmas.  On Thursday morning, don't tear into presents.  Begin by reading some of God's Word and thanking him for all he does.  Then tear in and enjoy the day.  Try and exercise every day because if your like me, there will be some serious intake of food.
