Our attempt to drop 500,000 Easter eggs is a go.  Burl Walker is heading this up for me and he met with the Easley rec. department this morning and everything has been cleared.  This event will take place on Saturday, April 4th from 3:00 - 6:00 on the soccer fields located at the bottom of the hill behind the baseball fields.  We'll have four soccer fields side by side which will work perfect with what we want to do.  We'll also be giving away hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, drinks, chips and have a bunch of inflatables for the kids.  I'm expecting ten thousand minimum at this event.  We already have two hot air balloons (FREE I might add) that will be dropping the eggs.  What a sight to see all these eggs dropping onto 4 fields of children.

Obviously, for this to work we'll need a few things:
1. For you to begin buying every plastic Easter egg you can find.  I'm going today and showing you how many I bought on Sunday.
    I want to lead by example.  I'd love to see us have the eggs within the next few weeks.
2. A LOT of volunteers serving our community on that day.  Loving on people letting them know we really do want to make a    
   difference.  Serving the food, directing traffic, rides to field and back to car (Need golf carts) helping children on the inflatable.
   A more detailed list will be listed soon.
3. A LOT of hot dogs and buns.  The church could begin buying some of this stuff but I want to give all of you the opportunity to serve 
   the community yourself.  I'll give you more info on the cost to buy everything soon.
4. PRAYER:
    Begin praying with me that God uses this event to touch the lives of many people.  No we won't be doing church out there but we   
    will be loving on people and when they realize they need a church, they will remember this event.
    Pray for a beautiful day.  Rain would hurt the event a tad.
    Pray that we see thousands of people worship with us in the Sundays to follow and that they will give their life to Jesus.

Couple of thoughts:
* I am so stoked about what God is doing here.  Excited about all the life change.  People are hearing about us!
* Spoke with Mr. Robinson (he owns the Colony theater) this morning and asked him if we could have one more year of free rent.
   We begin paying $2,500 a month January 1, 2010.  Pray God will soften his heart or open other doors for us.
* This Sunday is going to be incredible.  I've seen some of the testimonies people came and recorded this week.  To see watch their testimony and see them baptized.  Oh my gosh,
