March 3, Life change 7 egg drop

5 Point has been taking some serious criticism lately.  From the music we choose, not allowing children in the worship service, not allowing parents into the Kid Zone and the list could go on.  We also get some really encouraging letters also.  I like for you to
see how God is using our church to help change lives.  Check this e-mail out:

Hi Dean,
Let me begin by saying that I am tempted to say that 5 point changed my life, but I know that Jesus is responsible. That being said I don't think it would have happened without your church. Hearing you speak about your early years reminds me of my initial experience with church. I went because I had to and that was it. I hated being there but reluctantly attended anyways. For the first time in my life I look forward to Sundays because of church instead of the NFL. Before I found 5 point I was seriously questioning the existence of GOD and my life has been changed dramatically since. Thank you for what you are doing and forget about negativity coming from individuals like the mother you mentioned in the blog. I have a young child in the Kid Zone named _________ and I appreciate the security provided. I may have to wait a little longer to pick him up but I know he is going to be there and he is going to be safe. Thanks again for not allowing random parents back there.

Thank you Lord Jesus for the life change taking place.  I am so excited about our future and our efforts in reaching this community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Couple of thoughts:
* Had an awesome staff meeting yesterday evening.  We discussed the egg drop in great detail.
* We need volunteers to begin coming in and helping put candy in the eggs.  We have several thousands eggs on the stage already.
* If you can help call the church at 850-0580 or e-mail Miss Ann at ann@5pointfellowship.org
* Buy plastic eggs.  Buy a lot of eggs.  April 4th is only a month away.
* Unleashed is March 12th and I'm really excited about going with so many of our volunteers.
* I went to go work out early this morning and the YMCA was closed.  2 hour delay.  Getting ready to swim & lift now.
* Walked into auditorium this morning and saw the baptismal pool was still out.  Thought about Sunday again and then realized just
how many people we still have to reach.  We can never bask in the past but continue to move forward.
* This weeks message is going to flat challenge all of us.  Not done yet because God isn't done with me yet!
* Deb hurt her back snow tubing yesterday, in a lot of pain.  Please pray for her.  She really is hurting.
* Just kissed my 4 week old grandson.  I love him so much already.  I think he smiled at me (might have just been gas) but his smile
brought joy to my heart.  I'm convinced God the Father smiles when He sees us doing His will.
* Go buy a lot of plastic eggs and bring to the church or just bring on Sunday.  A LOT!
* Enough for now, gotta work out.
