WOW is all I can say right now.  I am overwhelmed with what God is doing.  Last night completely rocked.  Over 100 adults and teens showed up last night with one goal in mind, to worship Jesus Christ.  95% or more of them had fasted all day for our Egg Drop and three Easter services.  For many, it was there first time ever fasting.  Folks, when over 100 people gather to fast and pray, you better watch out.  I can promise you God will honor this.

Breaking the fast by taking part in the Lords Supper, well, I'm speechless.  The tears I saw, the heart felt emotion as people took part was simply amazing.  To see people praying all over the building.  To see people begging God for no less than 150 salvations.  To see people weeping over their lost friends.  I just don't know what to say but thank you. 

Thank you to Tim and the band.  They did an awesome job leading us in worship.  Our band never ceases to amaze me in the way they step up to the plate week after week.  I truly believe they lead us in worship and don't perform.  Great job guys.
Special thanks to those who kept the kids last night.  Doesn't happen without you.

Easter Egg Drop
Let me prepare everyone now about something.  Several people have already told me about some of the grief they have taken from other churches about our egg drop.  EVERYONE please take this seriously.  Just love on those people.  They don't understand what were trying to do.  They don't understand that were doing things no one else is doing so we can reach people no one is reaching.  As they rip our church, as they rip me, as they tell you how wrong this is, just love on them.  Show them Jesus with skin on.  Remember, Jesus was criticized for EVERYTHING he did because he did everything different.  If the conversation begins to get heated, tell them you'll just have to agree on disagreing and leave.  We've been called to reach lost people, not churched people.  DO NO ARGUE WITH THEM PLEASE!  Just love on them and move on.  Peter knew all about confrontation, he said it this way:

1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

Saturday is going to be an awesome day.  Have you seen the weather forecast?  74 and nothing but sunshine.  Yeah God. 
We have a set up crew coming early to get everything ready.  We need everyone else to show up around 2:00.  We'll give you your assignments and t-shirt and get you to loving on people.  We especially need people to stick around afterwords and help clean up.  What an awful witness to leave the facility a mess.  We'll have trash and eggs everywhere.  So please, stick around and help.  By the way, the city gave us an awesome price on the fileds.  For those who do, stay, were going to have a little surprise for you.  I promise, you don't want to miss it. 

Timothy said to be prepared in season and out of season.  We are prepared.  Burl has done a wonderful job organizing this event.  Pray with me that we see thousands of people come and enjoy a church just wanting to love on their communities people.  I'm willing to bet a few might just start coming to 5 Point through this event.  I'm willing to bet some of those who come will receive Jesus as their Savior.  And I'm guaranteeing everyone of you who help with this event will took part in these people coming to know Jesus.  WOW!

Some thoughts about this Saturday:
* We need ice.  Lots of ice.  If you have a cooler, please stop and fill it full of ice on the way. 
* We have 6,000 drinks that will be delivered to the field Saturday.  Catch this, we paid .08 cents a can.  That's right, 8 cents.
* We got 2,000 hot dog buns for $82.00. 
* We haven't asked anyone to sponsor this event but the people of 5 Point.  Way to go guys.
* This event is costing us more than $10,000.  I can't think of a better way than loving on people.
* 200 people signed up to help.  So cool. 
* If you didn't sign up we didn't order you a t-shirt.  Sorry.  Should have signed up.  If any left over we'll give you one.
* Park at top of hill.  Bottom lot for visitors.  There will be no one allowed to park around inflatables.  NO ONE!  So don't get mad when 
  we don't allow you.  If you need to leave early you'll have to drive through all the kids.  Not happening.  Fat preacher parking up top.
* Invite as many people as you can.
* Thanks for everything guys.  I believe the next two weekend's are going to be God Sized.
