Pastor Renatus (African Pastor) and I spoke on the phone one day this week. For some reason I couldn't understand him so I asked him to write me an e-mail because I could hear in his voice that what he was saying was important. THought all of you would enjoy his letter.
dearest Pastor Dean,
Greetings from Renatus,
I have been suffering from Flu since Monday but now am recovering. Good news the husband of the witch doctor has received Jesus as his personal savior. Great impact. Amen.
I have few things to share with you Pastor Dean.
First of all I would like to say Thank to you and your church. You have been very close and supportive to the 5 point of Tabora. This has been putting me in a simple work for I have all the resources to make the church go on. Thank you very much for your willing to support us.
Pastor Dean, what I wanted to tell you is that, the name and the documents of the church is reading 5 point of Tabora. I wanted to walk on these points not because you have been supporting us but it is because the visions God Gave you to call your church 5 point is touching my heart and that is what i want to influence the church in tabora. I promise you that I will serve God here and that I will make sure I influence people and impact them with the Word.
I will like you to hold this church in every aspects so that we can turn Tabora to Jesus. I plan to build Big church, Bible school and School for Kids as there is no school in this Area.
The church will help the people not just in that Area bt also from other parts of Tabora. The Training center will help rural pastors who have no education or any Biblical background to swallow the word of God so that they will feed their congregations when they return to their villages. And the school will help the community around to educate their children. Pray with me. God is putting new things everyday in my heart.
What I will like you to do is to invest your time and every blessing to make sure that this Muslims city is changed. I will like to pray for God to provide Money for Church, school for Children and Bible school. Pray that God will give us volunteer whom will be coming to teach these pastors from villages. My vision is to have pastors who have vision to spread the word by teaching it and making disciples.
Also pray that we will have money for the school for Kids. We have enough Area. I will meet the owner tomorrow and I will let you know about what is going on. Again thank you so much for being supportive to this church.
Pray that God will Give us funds to meet all these needs, Including Books and other things for teaching the Word.
