Yesterday morning some guest came by the church to talk with me.  One of the men wanted to give me a Noah's bird house and letter of thanks.  Thought everyone might enjoy some of the comments were getting on a regular basis about our church and the things were doing.


Dear Pastor Herman and the congregation of 5 Point Fellowship,
 
     I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you.  I have observed from a distance on several occasions this past year, how the congregation from 5 Point Fellowship has given of themselves to this community.  Although I could not personally attend all the festivities, I have family and friends who have.  My sister and her children did enjoy the Easter celebration and the Fourth of July event.
    At the July 4th celebration I did see hundreds of smiling faces, and I  believe it was not just because of games, food, or drinks.  But, because everyone was seeing a demonstration of unconditional Christ like love, oozing from your venue.
     Every one I know who comes in contact with this body of Believers rave about the hospitality and genuine kindness of those who work the events.  As a Believer, I know the source of their joy and kindness and see the demonstration of Christian love from all your efforts.  I encourage you to keep on giving, just as the Savior freely and cheerfully gives.  I'm sure you would agree; In His presence is fullness of joy!  Thank you for sharing of yourself and your resources.  Our City is a better place because of you.  Because of what Christ is doing at Five Point, please keep reaching out to the people in our City; they will see Jesus in all you do.
     I hope in some small way all of you can enjoy the Noah's Ark Birdhouse; I made as a token of my appreciation for you and a testimony of the greatness of our Lord.  May it be an encouragement to you as you do God's work. Yes God does care for each of us and may we keep on doing our part till Jesus comes.  May the Birdhouse remind us to keep our eye on the sparrow, not one of them shall fall without the Father knowing it. 
     Your labor is not in vain.  If God allows maybe I too may be in fellowship with you in His presence, until then, please pray for me as I keep watching.
