1.  Here it is, our "Ugly Truth" marriage series graphic.  It took several attempts to get it the way I wanted it, but I like it.  I love the heart in the woman"s chest and the mans pants.  So realistic.  Not sure of the exact starting date, but when we do start I can promise you it is going to be the most in your face marriage series you've ever taken part in. 

I need some help from you.  The next few weeks you'll have the opportunity to share what has hurt your marriage through the years. 
Be honest.  Got some great responses last week.  Number one answer, lack of communication.  You'll be hearing that again during the series.  Men, need you to help.  Felt like most of the responses were from women. 

Also, I'm going to be having a creativity meeting with anyone wanted to attend.  We'll discuss topics, songs, videos and the ugly truth about marriage.  If interested, just leave me your name and e-mail in the comment section and I'll be in touch soon.

2.  This Sunday evening we'll be having a child dedication.  GREAT NEWS!  Were having so many kids dedicated we need the big auditorium.  We have so many youth coming on Sunday night s that they need the big auditorium.  To help solve the problem we've moved baby dedication up to 5:00 pm.  We'll be done before 6:00 which will give us time to get out of the way of our teens. 

3. Africa Mission trip meeting.  Our next meeting will be on October 28th with Pastor Renatus of 5 Point Tabora leading us.  In fact, on November 1st,  Renatus will actually be helping me with the message.  Can't wait for all of you to meet him and hear his heart.

4.  October 31st we'll have rides, hot dogs and drinks, face painting, candy and more for all you walk through our parking lot.  Start bringing candy soon as you can.  We want to serve our community by giving them a safe environment for Halloween.  Make plans now to attend and help serve others.

5. The following Sunday we'll be having our "Pick Your Team Sunday."  Everyone can wear their favorite college team apparel (I'll be in orange if your wondering) and we'll be tail gating before both services.  Trying to get the Tiger and some Clemson players to come that day.  Anyone have connections with any Gamecock players? 

6.  I'm really excited about January 3, 2010.  Calling it our new beginning Sunday.  Kicking off the new year with baptism.  Begging God that we'll baptize 100 or more people that day.  The entire day will be about life change.

This Sunday is finished and I am some kind of jacked up about teaching what God has laid on my heart.  You think the past couple of weeks have been challenging, buckle up the pew belts because this one is hot!
