Dec. 29, Great Africa News

Pastor Renatus called me today to let me know they had 140 people Sunday morning with 5 giving their life to Jesus.  They now have over 50 people waiting to be baptized.  Is that awesome or what?  Every time I speak to Renatus I get jacked up.  His desire to reach Tabora is exciting to be around.  I am so glad we get to be a part of something so exciting.  A special thank you to those of you who have continued to give 1 dollar a day.  Every dollar is being used to reach more people.

Here is a picture of the building Renatus is using at this present time.  You can see the other side doesn't have any tin and this side is only half way.  Reason, they ran out of money.  We sent another $350 today to finish the building.  This now gives our African church a good sized building with 200 chairs.  Again, thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.

Below the picture you will find a thank you letter form Renatus I received today.  He and the people are so appreciative.  Makes it so easy to give.

Please remember to pray for Renatus and 5 Point of Africa.  God is doing great things there.

Thank you Letter from Renatus:

My Pastor Dean,
It was good to hear your voice today. What a blessing to talk to you and to hear all the information from my mother church far away in SC. God bless you so much my pastor. Today I was at the church finishing your teaching series. It is a blessing to be  associated with you. God bless you so much.

Thank you also for sending money to finish the construction of our temporary church. But also it was good to hear that you have sent money for decorations. God bless you.

I would like to the this opportunity to talk with you about our mission trip in may. I can't wait to see you coming here and have fellowship with Africans. Every body at 5 point of Tabors is very excited. I hope to know more about the word of God.

Love you,
Renatus
