April 15, Helping the community
I wanted to let our community know we have a food pantry so Tim and I changed the marquee sign Tuesday to the following:
Last month we helped 27 families. As of today we've already helped 21 families this month. 13 of those came today due to the sign. The food pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursday from 12:00 - 2:00. Amy and Margaret come and handle all the people and usually that is all the help we need. Again, due to the sign the crowd has grown.
In order for us to continue the food pantry with the excellence I expect, we need more food and help. If you can come during those time slots please let us know. Call the church at 850-0580 and ask for Ann. We also need more food. We have a list available at connect central. Make it a family project. Let your kids know helping those less fortunate than ourselves is important.
Our vision is to reach this city with the gospel of Jesus Christ. A lot of people will never listen about Jesus until we show them the love of Jesus.
